I think you might mean your "IAC" sensor. If so, it is right on top the trottle body
The 1998 Ford Explorer 5.0 liter engine IAT sensor is located between the engine and the air filter box. The IAT sensor will be on the air intake hose.
Hi the IAT Sensor is on the air filter hose, it is build in the Flow Mass Sensor ,it is a plug with 6 wires.
This sensor is located about middle of the radiator grill side.
the iat sensor is located in the air intake duct this is the large rubber hose that attaches to the air filter box
It's located with the MAF
On a 1987 Ford F-150, the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is located on the intake manifold. It is near the fuel rail and on the driver's side.
On a 2006 Ford F-150 truck, the IAT sensor can be found on the driver's side of the intake manifold. It is situated beside the fuel rail.
The IAT sensor is an integral part of the MAF sensor
A 95 did not have IAT sensor
93 thru 99 3.0 motors have IAT but later models do not
not to be mean but fords dont have iat sensors they have a map sensor and it is located in the intake tube between the throttle body and the air filter WRONG!!! The IAT sensor, or the air change temp sensor is located on the right side of the lower intake, right behind the the very first injector on that side.
