R H D Aus version is behind battery rh side looking at the engine . Behind battery there is a plastic panel ease foward and relays are there the fuel is the ten pin one closer to engine.
Remove the plastic cover behind the battery, and you should find it. Small black module.
Behind the battery, there is a black plastic piece that protects all the relays from water. Remove this, you'll see a series of relays over there. On the left side, you'll see a big black relay that has the numbers 003 545 or something similar. Remove this, you'll see a smaller, green coloured relay behind it. That is the fuel pump relay. You should find the fuse on top of this relay. It should have a rating of 30 amperes.
Under the car RHS under a plastic cover with four screws. it is an external fuel pump.
The main relay and the fuel pump relay are the same. Take the fuel pump relay and swap it with the main relay and see if that will help you....
It depends on the model and engine displacement. My W124 220E has a 70 liter fuel tank capacity.
Swap the fuel pump relay with another like relay.
what sensor controls the fuel relay
A 2005 PT Cruiser does have a fuel pump relay. They have a fuel pump relay rather than a fuel pump switch. The fuel pump relay is located in the fuse box.
Bypass the relay and if the pump works the relay is bad.
When the engine is turned on the fuel relay turns the fuel pump on. Most fuel relay systems are located near the steering column under the dashboard.
A fuel pump relay is just that,a relay that runs the electric fuel pump on your vehicle. PCM stands for powertrain contol module,it is the center for contoling the proper operation of fuel delivery, engine timing etc. The fuel pump relay and pcm relay are not the same.
Swap the fuel pump relay with another like relay in the fuse/relay center. If the problem with the fuel pump goes away, the relay was bad. If not, knowing GM fuel pumps, the fuel pump is the problem.
