North America (which comprises Canada, the USA and Mexico) is the Northern section of the huge Continent of The Americas, which serves to divide the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. To it's East lie the West Indies, Cuba and several small islands including the British dependency of Bermuda, and then on the other side of The Atlantic Ocean , Western Europe (beginning with the islands of The Azores, which are a Portugese dependency). To it's West is the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, broken only by the Hawaiian Islands and some smaller Pacific isles until you come to Japan and the islands of Micronesia, which mark the beginning of Indo-China. North America is entirely in the Northern Hemisphere.
