m50 engines do not have a pcv valve. they have a oil separator system in which reduces oil flow through the intake manifold. its a fitting on the front drivers side of the valve cover, it had two hoses vacuum hoses connected to it one is ported vacuum and the other is unported. on the valve cover
bmw do not use a pcv valve system, instead they use a cyclone seperator system, and crankcase vent valve. the system is located under the intake manifold. comming problems are they rubber inside go bad, and the hoses get dry and brittle and crack, most commin is the valve from the cyclone seperator hose that runs excessive oil to engine, this hose is connected at the base of the dipstick will break off at the top of the seperator, this will cause a vacuum leak. good luck.
yes it does, all engines have a pcv valve ( positive crankcase ventilation ) valve. it is on the engine and vacuum goes to it from the valve covers.
Pass side valve cover.
For the 305 (LO3), the PCV valve is located on the driver's side valve cover. It's held in place with a rubber grommet.
