Where is Viosk Poland as mentioned in the book The Devil's Arithmetic?

After searching the web for many, many hours and not finding this village anywhere, I finally thought to check on Polish letters and how they correspond to English sounds. In so doing, I found the village of Wioska which I believe it the village Viosk from the book. It's just a little south and west of Poznan, quite a bit north and slightly west of Wroclaw.
