Under the hood, on the lower drivers side, inside radiator support.
Yes it does, if it needs to be replaced i suggest going to your local auto parts store and buying one, this will give you an idea of what your looking for. There are two other relays that look exactly like this one and they are all located up against the fire wall. The Starter relay and the Fan relay are located on the drivers side. The Fan relay is the one closer to the fender and the Starter relay farther.
If I am not mistaken, I belive the fan relay switch is located directly behind the battery in a little black box. You have to sorta pry these two little clasps (sorta hard) in order to get the lid of the box off. Inside there are a bunch of switches. I am not completely sure which is for fan relay, but it is there. Owners manual should say which is which. Good Luck.
radiator fan relay number 1 is in Junction block #2 left side of engine compartment. Should be labled under the cover.
There should be a smaller plastic box behind the fuse box in the engine compartment. There you will find the high speed fan relay as well as the low speed fan relay.Good Luck
It won't have a relay. Usually it is the switch, or the fan motor that goes bad.
fan relay RELAY On your 1994 PONTIAC SUNBIRD, the RELAY is: UNDER HOOD, DRIVER SIDE, FRONT ENGINE AREA, REAR SIDE OF BATTERY, MOUNTED ON FENDERWELL blower relay RELAY On your 1994 PONTIAC SUNBIRD, the RELAY is: UNDER HOOD, DRIVER SIDE, FRONT ENGINE AREA, REAR SIDE OF BATTERY, MOUNTED ON FENDERWELL good luck
the fan relay sensor is out of it.
If it is still in the same place as a '93, it is behind (near the connections of) the Battery.
Replace it with a good relay of the same type from another system of the car. If the fan operates properly your relay was bad. If the fan doesn't work properly, that doesn't mean your relay isn't bad, it means there is another issue.
The PCM (powertrain control unit/computer) sends power to the fan relay based on the output of the coolant temperature sensor reading. The relay then sends power to the fan; thus turning the fan on.
The 1986 Pontiac Firebird fan relay switch can be found on the back of the fan motor. The relay switch is connected to the fan motor by two retaining screws.
There are several relays. ABS relay is mounted to the firewall driver side. Radiator fan relay is mounted on the inner fender by the battery. There are also 3 mounted on the passenger side on the inner fender back by the windshield.
not sure about on a 93. But mine 94 2.o has it on the left (driver side) wheel panel inside the hood. it is screwed into the side panel right before the battery.
nope fan relay is located in the fuse box under the hood swap it out put a new one in peace of cake
Is In the right by the firewall on ur car u can see it cus is a round relay not a. Square relay
I believe it to be on the fan belt mechanisim..the pulley that allows you to adjust the tension.
Blown fuse, bad temp sensor, bad ground, bad fan motor
