Leopard geckos are just overall one of the best beginner reptiles. The biggest misconception about leopard geckos is that their native habitat is on sand. They're desert animals so it must be sand... Right? .... Wrong...

∙ 10y agoThe Aukland Green Gecko is native to New Zealand. This animal habitat consists of many shrubs and bushes aswell as dense forested areas. This habitat is considered to be a rainforest, although does not reach the extremely hot temperatures.
