Why is Memphis Tennessee said to be in the Mississippi delta if Wiki says that the delta is in Louisiana?

Louisiana might have some of the delta in it, but the Mississippi delta does not in fact exist solely in Louisiana...not at all. If you look at a map of Northern Mississippi, it is divided into two geographical regions: further to the east is "Hill Country" (Holly Springs), and on the west is more of the delta. This is where Clarksdale, Lula, Tunica, and other famous blues towns are all located. Highway 61 runs through this region, and (again, if you look at a map) you'll see that Memphis is only a little North of here, thus including it in the general "delta" region. Also, the "Mississippi delta" as referred to as a land of blues origins would include Memphis due to the frequent visits and migrations made by musicians from deeper down in the delta.
