The accelerator pedal has the sensor incorperated. It is replaced as a unit. Part # 30683516
it is located on the pedal, look on the pedal you will see a black sensor with connector plug. this is it
It is on the accelerator pedal. You have to replace the whole pedal assembly
The sensor will be by the accelerator pedal
If you are talking about the accelerator travel sensor it is part of the gas pedal. It has two bolts that mounted to the floor you replace the panel and all it is one unit
It is on the part under the hood that the cables hook to. It is called an APPS: accelerator pedal position sensor.
It is located on the side of the engine where the cruise/accelerator cable and A/T kickdown cable all join together.
Accelerator pedal sensor error
It is called a APPS accelerator pedal position sensor. It is located on the front of the engine. It is the part that the throttle cables hook to.
Built n the accelerator pedal inside the truck. Called an APPS.
ATTATCHED TO THE PEDAL ITSELF, BOLTED TO THE FIREWALL. THERE IS NO CABLE GOING TO THE ENGINE FROM THE PEDAL. INSTEAD, THE SENSOR TRANSMITS DATA OF ITS POSITION DIRECTLY TO THE ENGINE COMPUTER. TWO BOLTS ON THE SENSOR, ONE BOLT HOLDING THE PEDAL ON TO THE SENSOR BODY AND A WIRE HARNESS CLIP. TAKE PANEL UNDER STEERING WHEEL OFF.
This project is fairly simple. there are a few bolts and a electrical connector that hold the accelerator pedal in place. the accelerator and sensor are all inclusive. look under the drivers side at the pedal find the bolts and electrical connect remove and replace. it's very simple no real technical expertise required.
