Everything is POSSIBLE...but do they want to change? Dave
open the driver door (right hand drive) its the side of the dash use a screwdriver or key to pop it off.Actually it's under the hood of the car in a black box on the far right. push forward on the locks to uncap the fuse box.
depends on the model and year - probably in the boot on the right hand side
It is in the end of the dash board. On right hand drive cars, open the drivers door so you can see the end of the dash and ease the semi circle shaped cover off. There is a fuse pulling tool in there too ;o)
My 93 has it under and to the right of steering column but it's a right hand drive.
On a right hand-drive car (steering wheel on right) the fusebox is on the drivers side also. There are also a few bigger fuses in the box that contains the ECU (this is under the bonnet/hood). This is the same for model years 1995-2002.
For left hand drive cars, it is on the left hand end of the dash board. Open the left hand side door fully, put a screwdriver into the small slot and lever off the cover. Inside you will find the fuse layout and pliers to remove/replace fuses. For right hand drive cars, the fuse panel is on the right hand end of the dash.
Could be the provision for the rear fog light on right hand drive cars. On left hand drive cars, the rear fog light is on the left side.
right hand drive
right hand drive
This is the answer of my 2003 model Polo:- For left hand drive cars, it is on the left hand end of the dash board. Open the left hand side door fully, put a screwdriver into the small slot and lever off the cover. Inside you will find the fuse layout and pliers to remove/replace fuses. For right hand drive cars, the fuse panel is on the right hand end of the dash. .........might be the same for 2004
Hi, if it's any use, I have a 2002 Octavia, and I am replacing mine as a coin shorted it recently. I have diagrams that show me it is Fuse no. 41 which is 15 amps. In Right-hand drive, this is the bottom left corner fuse, fourth fuse from bottom. In Left-hand drive, it's bottom right, 4th from bottom as it's mirrored.
