The filter/Strainer is located on the bottom of the transmission valve body much like any other ordinary transmission and requires removal of the transmission pan for access/service. Being that it is a screen design it can be flushed with fresh ATF and returned to service. Note that some aftermarket replacements are of a felt media design that when serviced must be discarded and replaced.
There is no automatic transmission filter on Honda Pilot.
Yes the 1997 Toyota Camry has a metal screen filter inside of the transmission pan on the bottom of the transmission, you will have to remove the bottom transmission to get to the filter, because the filter is a metal screen you do not have to replace the filter, you can clean the filter and reuse it
Yes, the automatic transmission filter is located inside the transmission pan.
No.
In an automatic Eclipse, the transmission filter is located inside of the transmission. To change the filter, the entire transmission must be disassembled to reach it.
If automatic usually inside the transmission pan
It is inside the oil pan, is this is automatic. If not, there is no filter.
There is no filter in a manual tranny. if you have an automatic there is still no removable filter in it.
== == If it's a manual it has no filter. If it's an automatic it's on the bottom. Pull the pan on the bottom of the tranny and it will be directly above. Inside the transmission.
Inside the pan.
I don't believe ther is one on this transmission, just the fluid gets changed. If there is a filter, it would be replaced if transmission is overhauled.
You don't. Most Honda transmission have a non-serviceable filter that is located inside the transmission. The transmission must be disassembled to get at the filter. It is designed to last the life of the transmission. By the time the filter is clogged, the transmission needs overhauling.
