I am looking around to replace the transmission on my 1995 Ford Windstar and the information that I received from several different mechanics is that the 1995 Windstar transmission is a "one year" transmission so you pretty much have to get a 1995 transmission for a 1995 windstar engine. I'm no mechanic and really have no idea but this is just what I've been told... someone out!

Trivia Tidbit: The successor to the Windstar name was the "Freestar" and coincided with the introduction of the twin Mercury Monterey. I do not believe any single side door Windstar was offered after 1998.

That one is easy as I believe every Windstar in the entire known universe came equipped with 15" or 16" wheels.
unplug conn. use a 7/8 wrench to remove o2 sensor Your windstar has at least 3 oxygen sensors. Make sure you are changing the right one. There is one on each manifold and one on the catylitic converter. You need a special tool called an o2 wrench to properly remove one.
