To reset the check engine light on a 1994 Honda Civic locate the fuse box in the engine compartment. Find the ECU fuse and pull it off for at least 5 seconds. This will erase all codes on the ECU.
I had same problem, but this can be caused by a few different things. its either the PTU, the coil pack or the ECU, more often than not its the ECU!
It's part of the ECU(main engine control module) on this model.
of course you can i mean the engine bay allow it but you need to install the ECU and engine/injectors/ecu arnes as well and if you ,re going to swap from automatic to manual you'll need the transmission shock too. good luck!
errorcode 1453
head valves no. it will wreck the cat convert and flood motor because the eCu will go nuts with a dead cylinder and pulsing vacuum.
ecu= engine control unit
Assuming you mean the engine ECU, the answer is no
the 1994 Honda accord has an obd2 ecu.
ECU is directly behind , left front speaker.
The ECM or ECU is located inside the vehicle that the engine is installed in. These units are never mounted on the engine.
Above the gas pedal, under the dash, there is 2 wires with clips that you plug together. Check engine light will flash the codes recorded in the ecu.
