Yea prb
Finally managed it! the large plug on the ecu was bolted in with some kind of shear bolt. in the end i had to drill the top off of it,remove the plug and then with mole grips remove the thread of the bolt from the ecu.
It's an issue with an 02 sensor and the heating circuit to it. Not necessarily a bad 02 sensor, but the car is not going in to closed loop when it should. In open loop the ECU ignores the signals from the 02 sensors, during cold start until the sensor(s) are heated enough to go in to closed loop and the ECU uses the signal from them
You can start with the 02 sensor. if that does not fix the problem then you may have to consider the ECU.
where is the secondary 02 sensor on a 2004 crv
how many coolant sensors do i have on a 2003 civic si ep3
Mine blew too, i dont know why, i tuched some wires with my 02 sensor, basicaly exposed wires will cause ur ecu fuse to blow, i dont know why tho, i have the same problem Mine blew too, i dont know why, i tuched some wires with my 02 sensor, basicaly exposed wires will cause ur ecu fuse to blow, i dont know why tho, i have the same problem
The sensor will cost around $75. It will cost another $75 to have it installed and the ECU reset.
it located right in back of the tranmission.
where is the 02 censor located
nowhere obviously
on the bottom
