Depends on what vehicle (make/model/year)
The fuel pump is in the gas tank
It has a permanent filer that is changed when the fuel pump is replaced.
i know the pump is in the fuel tank and the fuel filer is on the line just in front of the the tank
Somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. Except on certain cars such as a Neon, which has the filter in the fuel tank.
Mine did not have. But you can install one if you think you will need it.
Just above the gas tank in the rear of the vehicle.
The address of the Filer Public is: 219 Main St, Filer, 83328 0052
It could leak while the filer is off. Once the filter is back on, there should be no leaks.
Yes, a partially clogged filer can cause hard starting. So can a weak fuel pump.
I don't know what you mean by so often. Change your fuel filter every 75,000 miles and you will be fine.
Underneath the Explorer , on the driver's side , mounted in the frame rail somewhere below the driver's door is where you will find the fuel filter (Helpfull)
The phone number of the Filer Public is: 208-326-4143.
