After resetting the fuel light on a 200 series do you have to drain the filter or do anything else?
remove the black plug from sensor on top of the filter with ignition in the off position, start the engine, replace the plug and the light will be off. I tried this but the light is still on!

The filter is on the bulk head passenger side (roughly) just underneath the windscreen
Passenger side, under bash plate alongside chassis.
You can only access it from underneath the car. First remove the front steel bash plate on the left hand side. To remove the oil filter element you will need a Toyota tool to unscrew the plastic lid on the underside, so best buy the tool when you buy the oil filter.
The fuel regulator is inside the fuel filter in a lot of Saturns.
Mounted on top and inside the fuel tank.
You have to remove the whole centre area of the dash. Follow the instructions here: http://www.australianimages.com.au/project200/dash-pull-apart.php
The fuel filter is located beneath the center of the car, approximately under the driver's seat. Remove the protective cover to access the filter. FYI: 2001-200 Z3 coups and roadster cars with the M54 engine are also equipped with a fuel filter that has a built-in fuel pressure regulator.
Are you referring to a 200 model Metro? If so, there is no fuel filter to replace. 1998-2000 Metros have a fuel strainer in the tank. I have a 1999 Metro 3-cylinder and learned this over the summer when contacting the Chevrolet dealer. Are you referring to a 200 model Metro? Inside the fuel tank... the tank must be dropped and the filter is part of the fuel pump assembly which includes the pump, filter and pressure regulator. Most parts stores have the whole assembly for around $200 - $250. You can do it yourself, but plan on about 3 hours for the whole job. JUST TO REPLACE A FUEL FILTER!
for the pump filter about 150 for the labor about 200-250
