The electric fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. You gain access by removing the rear bottom seat cushion. Lift up on each front corner of the cushion to release the clips. You'll see a wire harness leading to a round rubber seal. Pop the seal off to expose the pump. The pump can be removed WITHOUT dropping the fuel tank. I just did it on my car.
