Where is fuse for back tail lights for 2000 jeep grand Cherokee?
It is located in the fuse box below the steering wheel. Open a panel right below the steering wheel and you will find extra fuses with a diagram that tells what fuses it belongs to.
It should say TAIL for taillights or maybe brake lights.
It is a three wire switch on the driver side of the transmission.
Pull straight out, not up towards you, that changes the lights from low beam to high and back, on the handle where you cut your lights on and off. The end cap is actually the switch for the fog lights.
My Jeep Cherokee 1994 back lights does not work but the front lights and turn signal does it's not the bulb what could it be?
Type your answer here... It could be the back up light censor. Depending on where it's located, you may have to drop the tranny. that could be where the censor is located. I had the same problem in my 1998 grand Cherokee and that's where it was located. the censor is about $20.
That would depend on the size of your camper. I have a small pop up camper and used my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (V6) to tow it from Chicago to Yellowstone and back. I will never do that again. I now have a 1995 Grand Cherokee (V8) that tows it with no problem.

On my 1993, 1 is Brown/with a light green tracer, the other is black. If the bulbs are good & the sockets look O.K. The Back up lights then go to the transmission. Right side reverse switch or some say neutral safety switch.
The factory tire jack on a 96 jeep grand Cherokee is located under the back seat. just pull up from the back of the seats, and there it is!
you have to replace the Control head unplug it first and plug it back up and see if they come on some times it works
check and make sure all the lights are on like if a turn signal is out in the front then the signal will stay on in the back when you turn the turn signal on.

Its probably a problem in the wiring to the lights themselves. Just follow the wires back until you find a problem in the wire.
open the passenger side door. look at the side of the dash, there should be a little door that you can just pull off. Look in your owners manule towards the back of it and youll find the number of the fuse for the interior lights.
I recently had a similar problem with my 1998 cherokee- after looking into the issue I found that there was a short in the wiring harness in the back tail gate. Apparently the wires crack due the opening and closing of the rear hatch. I hope this helps Jim

on the crank near the back of th motor you will have to pull the crank out of the motor inorder to change the wheel i have a 2000 gc and just had to do this it is not an easy task

The reason why your horn honks when you back up is because someone hooked the horn to your back up lights. I think you can just find the wire that goes to the horn and pull the wire. it might also be a safety feature to your jeep. alot of new cars have this.
Check fuse number 4 on the inside fuse panel, something made it blow though so expect it to go again until you find the reason.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to if equipped with one. If you do youwill experience transmission and back up light problems. The computers uses it to shift the transmission and turn on the backup lights. It detects the gear it is in.
There are disc brakes front and back on the Cherokee. EDIT: Cherokees (XJ) have Drum Brakes in the back. Disc in the front i don't know if you were referring to the new Grand Cherokees .. Those have All Disc. Hope it helps. (i own a 88 Cherokee XJ)
undo the bolts/nuts that hold it on .... take the fan off .... replace the fan and put the bolts/nuts back in and tighten them up ... bingo .... fan changed
