If it is on a 1999 Chevy Malibu don't bother looking. There isn't one! This was one of gm's great ideas of getting you to take it in to a dealer.
Otherwise, "most" transmission dipsticks are on the left side to the rear of the motor. Some are very short and hard to see under all the other motor paraphernalia.
if its a maunual transmission you dont have one. if its a auto well i cant help you there.
i have a 91 bmw320i and i cant find mine either
The automatic has a dipstick. The manual has a fill plug on the side.
you cant, you need to take it to the dealer to have them put their dipstick in to ck the level.
many modern transmissions are sealed, so they wont have a dipstick; if you cant look it up in the owner's manual, call the dealership to find out for sure
I cant tell you were its at but all you have to do is crawl under the car make sure the emergency brake is on, locate the transmission, then you will see a metal hose coming out of the should be the side track that hose to where it comes out under the hood that is were you can add transmission fluid of coarse youll need a funnel
You can't. It's a sealed transmission, and has no spout or dipstick. All service to the transmission should be done by a dealer.
look down between the intake tube and the battery there should be a shellow handled dip stick looking back at you that would be you a/t dipstick
The fluid dipstick is visible from under the hood on the vehicle. The transmission may be slipping if you can feel the motor rev too much before the vehicle shifts. Also if the motor revs and the vehicle feels like it is "dragging" or "hesitating" you may also have a problem. Macs Transmissions (Houston, TX) 281-394-4951 macstransmissions@gmail.com where exactly is the fluid dipstick under the hood, i cant see it
i cant find my tcu
cant be done. if you overfill it you WILL ruin seals and ruin trann. it might take a moment but it WILL happen.
If it is an automatic, then all cars have dipsticks. But if the Saturn is a stick-shift it wont have a dipstick. Edit: all cars don't have tranny dipsticks, my sister in law has a 2004 Saturn Ion L2 and there is no visible dipstick.. (still looking, cant seem to find an answer ANYWHERE)
