I cant tell you were its at but all you have to do is crawl under the car make sure the emergency brake is on, locate the transmission, then you will see a metal hose coming out of the should be the side track that hose to where it comes out under the hood that is were you can add Transmission Fluid of coarse youll need a funnel
The transmission dipstick on a 1987 Honda Civic is located to the left of the oil dipstick. It is close to the left edge of the engine.

I it is a manual transmission it has no dipstick. If it is A/T it is located on the front of the transmission near the engine block. It is very small and has no tube. Look carefully.

If it is an Automatic just open the hood and look down at where the transmission bolts to the engine. There you will see the dipstick.
