On a 2001 Lincoln Continental :
The Mass Air Flow sensor is between the engine air filter housing and the
larger diameter engine air intake tube
* if it like my Ford Explorer it is INSIDE a round shaped plastic housing , but
you will see where the wires go in
No, Dodge doesn't use maf sensors.
No, most Chrysler vehicles do not use maf sensors.
Trouble code P1121 means: Throttle Position Sensor A Inconsistent With MAF/MAP Sensor
The MAF sensor may be in need of cleaning.
The MAF will be right next to the air filter housing part of the air intake. There will be a connector with about 4-6 wires connecting to it.
MAF sensors are generally near the air cleaner box.
If a non hotwire sensor buy a can of CRC MAF cleaner and follow directions.
most maf sensors are in the air intake hose from air filter to throttle body.
The MAF sensor has a tiny platinum wire in it.
check air, fuel, and elect.
