Behind and to the right of the glove box. You must remove the liner first and feel for the attachment bolts because the sensor is tucked behind a bracket. After replacing the sensor on my 83 Eldo (not cheap - part discontinued) I discovered that the problim was a vacum leak. I replaced all the old vacum hoses (cheap 10' of hose) and wha-laa. Good Luck
Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor ( MAP )
Get a tune-up ... change plugs, etc etc. The MAP sensor was probable only part of the problem.
On the map, the coordinates 42 N and 83 W is for the address 696 Sunset Avenue, Harrow, ON N0R 1G0, Canada.

Try replacing the map sensor
In many cases for this generation, your top cover has a total of 12 screws with a torx head on them. Remove those and you will see the sensor to the right. Replace and re-install.

That year did not have a MAP sensor.
It is under the dash, Just to the right of the glove box . It has a vacum hose attached and the other end of it goes to the throttle body on the efi. You will need to remove the ecm to see it.
