Visit this website and look at picture of MAP sensor on 1999 Hyundai Accent, http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?carcode=1355688&parttype=5124&a=FRc1355688k1262718
usually its in the air box, with 2 wires out the backNot AccurateOn a 2002 Hyundai Accent the IAT is bundled with the MAF sensor located on the throttle body. However, which wires are which I'm not sure. Not PreciseThe 2002 Hyundai Accent 1.6 DOHC doesn't have a MAF sensor!2002 1.6 DOHC has the IAT integrated into the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor.2002 1.5 SOHC has the IAT integrated to the MAF.The 2 wire separate sensor is only on 1999 model year and older Accents.
i need a diagram of wher the map sensor is.
It doesn't have a MAF sensor, the Map sensor is on the front of the throttle body.
The map sensor comes standard on a 1998 Toyota Rav4. It is typically located on the dashboard panel on the drivers side of the car.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I checked www.motorcraft.com ( all 3 engines ) and it does not list a MAP sensor
Open the metal covering on the top of your engine. MAP sensor is located on the firewall right in front on you - it is located about 12" to the right of the oil fill cap
A 1998 Jeep Cherokee does not have a mass airflow sensor. It uses a manifold pressure sensor, MAP, which is on the rear of the intake manifold.
The map sensor on a '00 Accent GS is on the intake manifold above the fuel injectors about midway across the engine. It's s little black box with a screw on each side and a harness coming off of it. Go to hmaservice.com and look up your car. (a 2000 is an Accent LC) then look under Fuel System, Engine Control System, Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP). Good Luck! Jay
Basically, yes.
Map sensor fault
No it uses a MAP (manifold pressure sensor) on the throttle body.
