There is a number "1" on the distributor cap. Follow that wire.
302 it goes toward the back of the engine-----point it at the driver.
The engine coolant reservoir has a thread on cap which is the "radiator " cap for the 4 cylinder engine
It should be marked but if not the number one is usually the stud right next to the firewall if the screws for the cap are parallel to the firewall
Easiest way to find it is to set #1 piston at TDC and remove the distributor cap to see where the rotor is pointing. It should be pointing to #1 cylinder position in relation to the distributor cap.

I was looking at one of the Ford websites , and it shows : For a 1999 Ford Contour ( 2.0 liter four cylinder engine and 2.5 liter V6 engine ) ( Motorcraft RS-513 ) is the part number for the thread on pressure cap / radiator cap on the engine coolant reservoir ) * it is a 16 PSI cap
