All 4x4's Ford Expeditions are not AWD... I have a 1998 Ford Expedition XLT and it has (2H/AWD/4L/4H). But, my brother has a 2000 Ford Expediton EB (AWD/4L/4H).
On top of the air conditioning system accumulator "can" on the passenger side of the engine, not too far from your heater/air conditioning electric fan motor. It has a plastic dust cap covering the valve.
I believe # 17 is for the cigarette lighter ( and possibly the data link connector )

Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information ( VECI ) decal located in the front of the engine compartment ( it will show the type of spark plugs to use and the spark plug gap )
you have to remove the inner fender for access. Put car on jack stands, remove front passenger tire, remove plastic inner shield to get to plugs. You will need couple extensions and a "wobble" or universal joint extension to get them
