Open your hood, look down at the engine, that thing sticking out of the front of it with the wire going to it is it. If you are still confused look at where the radiator fans are and the o2 sensor is directly across from them. Actually there are 2 O2 sensors one in maifold and the other in the flex pipe.
When removing and installing o2 sensor its wise... not to touch the end of the sensor that goes into the manifol with ur greesy fingers.. grease causes it to burn out.
All O2 sensors are threaded into the exhaust system. Bank 1 is the bank of cylinders that contains the number 1 cylinder. Sensor 1 is upstream (before the catalytic converter) and sensor 2 is downstream (after the catalytic converter). Your Accent has a 1.7 4 cylinder engine and has only one bank of cylinders. But it has 2 O2 sensors, one before (upstream) the cat and one after (downstream) the cat. The upstream sensor may also be called the Air/Fuel sensor.

Where is the o2 sensor on an o4 hyundai sonota 4cyl bank1 sensor2
It is the Oxygen Sensor that is screwed into the exaust pipe just past the catalytic converter. Sensor 2 means the downstream O2 sensor, post converter.
the o2 sensor is located at the left side of the engine towards radiator and is the upper o2.
is oppiste to radaitor exactly.
Post Catalytic Converter O2 Sensor seems to be the most likely issue. Could also be the catalytic converter, or an exhaust leak. The cheapest part to throw at it is the O2 Sensor. (cheapest place I've found to get them is autopartswarehouse com)
on the transmission housing appx 12o'clock
The O2 sensor on a 2000 Hyundai Elantra is removed by disconnecting the wiring harness and unscrewing the sensor from its housing. It can then be removed from the vehicle, inspected, and replaced if needed.
hai my car is ford fiesta zetec 2003 5door ,in my cay o2 sensor have fault .can you tell me how many o2 sensor are there and were is location
Hi, The front O2 is located on the front of the exhaust manifold. The rear O2 is located on the front pipe just after the flex. section. Just disconnect the O2 and remove it counter clockwise with a rachet (front) or a key (rear). Don't forget to disconnect your battery a few minutes to rest your ECM.
