walk to the right side of the bike. lay down and look underneath the bike. You will see an oil pan just behind the engine and just below the tranny. the engine oil drain plug is at the front and the tranny plug is facing you and about half way of the pan
The oil tank on the Road King is under the transmission.The drain plug is just like a car drain plug but be carefull the trans drain is under there to, be sure you get the right one.
The primary drain plug is on the lower right hand side of the primary.
The oil drain plug on a 2002 Road King motorcycle is near the kick stand lever. Look for a bolt that is sticking out in a horizontal position.

I hope you mean the primary drain plug. Because I have never got metal out on my transmission drain plug. The primary drain plug is on the clutch side. The transmission is on the other side. The primary will have metal on it. If the transmission plug has metal on it check your clutch to made sure it is working right. The clutch may need to be adjusted
Just above the right side of the transmission. The drain plug is under the transmission.
It is the plug facing the engine on the oil pan. Requires a 5/8 wrench. Don't forget to change the O-ring on the drain plug.

Place a drip pan beneath the crank case of your 1999 Road King motorcycle. Remove the crank case plug. Allow the oil to completely drained out. Replace the plug to its original position. Fill the motor with oil.
Pull the drain plug at the bottom of the oil tank under the tranny, refill on the right side filler plug.
14 - 21 ft lb or 19-28.5 Nm
Directly under the transmission on the bottom of the bike their is a black "oil pan". On the pan their are two 5/8inch drain plug bolts. The drain plug on the right side facing the floor is for the transmission. The drain plug on the side of the pan facing the front of the bike is the oil.
