Yes.
It is the tiny valve that lets air in to your tire but not out (unless you push it in with a nail or similar "pointy" thing)
The PCV valve, on your Ford Ranger 2.5 liter engine, is located on the outside of the air cleaner housing. The valve is on the back of the housing.
Yes, it does have an EGR valve.
where is the valve located on the 2002 ranger 4.0 liter 6 cyl?
Hey Vince==It is in the valve cover. GoodluckJoe
You could have the 2.9 liter , the 3.0 liter " Vulcan " or the 4.0 liter V6 engine . They are all over head valve / pushrod designs in a 1992 Ford Ranger
On 2002 Ranger 3.0L, the PCV valve is mounted in the valve cover near the brake booster.
I was looking on fordparts.com at the 2004 Ford Ranger with the 3.0 liter V6 engine and it doesn't list an EGR valve for the 3.0 liter like it does for the 4.0 or 2.3 liter
I believe it is on the valve cover , drivers side of engine , towards the rear
were is the Schrader vale located
On your 1989 Ford Ranger : The vacuum modulator valve is on the passenger side of the A4LD automatic transmission ( it might be behind a heat shield )
