On a ford e350, the bank two sensor two is on the drivers side. The sensor is the one behind the catalytic converter.
One reason a 2004 Ford Freestar may stall out is because of a water damaged PCM. This is a common problem with the 2004 Ford Freestar.
In a Ford Expedition : Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine Sensor 1 would be close to the engine before the exhaust enters the catalytic converter ( upstream sensor )
Bank # 1 is the passenger side of the engine Bank # 1 , SENSOR # 1 , is close to the engine in the exhaust Bank # 1 , SENSOR # 2 , is in the exhaust after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
B2 S2 is the O2 sensor after the Bank 2 Catalytic converter. Bank 2 is the bank of cylinders that does NOT contain cylinder number one.
Bank 1 sensor 3 should be the one after the catalytic converter.
system to lean bank one 02 sensor ?
If the tire pressure is correct, the sensor should turn off by itself after a brief drive. It will not turn off if the battery is bad in one of the sensors mounted inside the wheel or there is some other problem with the sensor.
Bank # 2 is the drivers side of the engine Sensor # 1 is in the exhaust before the catalytic converter
On a 2002 Ford Thunderbird : Bank 1 is the passenger side of the 3.9 liter V8 engine Sensor 1 would be close to the engine BEFORE the exhaust enters the catalytic converter
"bank one" is misleading on a four cylinder engine, since there is only one bank to begin with. Bank 1, sensor 1 is the upstream O2 sensor screwed into the exaust system before the catalytic converter. Bank 1 sensor 2 is screwd into the exaust system downstream of the catalytic converter.
bank one would be the passenger side
