What kind of vehicle?
should be the connector in the ac housing closest to the blower motor
Check the fuse and relay to start. If these are ok, then check the blower switch, the resister, then the blower motor itself.
Start out by checking the a/c blower and the blower resister.......
If the fan runs in high but not the other speeds the resister is bad. Done.
If you are missing some or all low speeds on the blower motor but still have high speed that would be the resister. The resister is located under the hood, attached to the HVAC (heating, ventilation and ac) box close to the blower motor. It has a removable electrical plug attached to it and is held in place with two small screws.
Mounted right in the AC/heater box under the hood.
I would like to know, where the ac blower is located on a 1999 BMW 528i
The blower motor speed resister is probably burned out.
If the blower doesn't work on certain speeds, replace the resister pack, located just behind the blower, against the firewall. If the A/C light is flickering on and off, replace the AC head unit. If it's just the blower that's causing the trouble, passenger side. There are two pieces to remove to get to the blower. Then you just unplug the motor, remove the screws holding it and slide it out.
Start out by checking the blower motor resister......
your motor resister is bad or might be called the climate control module
the ac only works on high the AC blower motor resister is located behind the pass. side kick panel's. just ahead of the door. this only applies to Eddie Bauer's. all others are on the side of the blower motor housing behind glove comportment Eddie Bauer us a solid state type 2"x2"x1" box. if the AC only blows on high the most likely casuse is an open inside the restior.
