The unit is located in the passenger side floor board, underneath the carpet. Just pull the carpet back and you will see a metal cover that holds the TCM on the right side, and the main ECM on the left. You will need a 10mm deep well socket to remove the nuts that hold the cover, then you will need a 10mm and a shorter extension to remove the three bolts that hold the TCM to the inside of the metal cover. There are two wire terminal plugs to remove to get the unit out, and you need to press down on the tab in the middle while pulling slightly on the wiring to remove the plugs. The TCM has two plugs, and the ECM has three, so that is a sure way of identifing which one is which, if they are not marked. The main wiring bundle does not allow much slack to do this removal, so be very careful not to pull on it too much. Good luck.

No, the only transmission that fits exactly is a 94-97 Accord. The 90-93 Accord can be used, but you will need the 90-93 flywheel. Chuck
