Put a potato in the exhaust pipe.
where is the blower motor located a a 1997 oldsmobile achieva
There is none - usually it is the module in the top of the heater / blower box (resistor module) that is the problem.
The blower motor is removed from under the hood. Against the firewall just to the left of center you will see the blower sticking out. Five 5.5mm bolts hold it on.
Yes, there is a fuse for the blower motor.
Yes, if the blower isn't working. If it turns out to be the fuse, and it blows again, you probably have a bad blower motor.
Depends on what you mean by heater will not work. If the blower motor will not work, it can be a blown fuse, bad blower motor, bad blower motor switch, or a defective blower motor resistor pack. If you mean that the blower motor works but there is no heat, then it can be a clogged heater core, thermostat stuck open, or defective heater control valve.
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 2005 Chevy Cavalier heater blower motor. Remove the heater blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the heater blower fan.
The a/c heater blower motor resister is located in the vehicle on the passengers side inside the housing next to the blower motor...............Remove the blower motor resistor wire harness connector.Remove the blower motor resistor screws.Remove the blower motor resistor.
If the heater fan works on all speeds, then the blower motor, blower fuse, blower relay, and blower motor resistor pack are all good. If the fan runs but nothing comes out of the vents, you have a 'mode door' issue (which might include a bad control head).

The 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora blower motor relay switch is located beneath the dashboard on the passenger side. The blower motor relay switch should be labeled as such.
