where is the blower motor located a a 1997 oldsmobile achieva
I just had my blower motor replaced in my 95 Achieva. The motor is located on the firewall behind the motor on the passanger side of the car. The mechanic had to cut away part of the plastic cover to remove and replace the motor It cost me $168.00 to have this done. $70.00 for the motor and the rest was labor. wow you got ripped off! I bought my blower motor at auto zone for 24.99 and it has a lifetime warranty. Put it in myself.. no problem!
The 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora blower motor relay switch is located beneath the dashboard on the passenger side. The blower motor relay switch should be labeled as such.
Depends on what Oldsmobile model you're referring to...
They are generally located close to or near by the blower motor.
On the evaporator case.
It is on the evaporator case and is held in with 2 screws.
Most of them are visible if you drop the glove box door.
follow the top radiater hose to where it goes to the motor there should be a bubble looking metal houseing if it is it will be inside.
There is none - usually it is the module in the top of the heater / blower box (resistor module) that is the problem.
Should be at the passenger's side firewall
don't now probably 98
The blower motor is worn out. My 95 Achieva had the exact same problem and I had the motor replaced. It cost $168.00. $70.00 for the motor and the rest was labor. I had the same problem in my 92 Achieva S. I agree, the blower motor is going bad. I bought a rebuilt one for $30.00 and installed it myself. It is easy to do.
