Round and Round
I would like to install a timing belt on my 93 960 volvo / how do I line up the cams with the crank shaft???
No,but with instructions you should be able to do this
There is no headlight relay. All the switching is done in the headlight switch including a circuit breaker.
On the '92 sunblrd SE the power for the lights to from fuse to headlight switch to dimmer switch to bulb, no relay involved.
It's located behind the ashtray, just remove the ashtray and the fuse box can be found, the relay plugs into the fusebox
Under hood, driver side, front side of strut tower, rear of headlight, mounted on inner fenderwell
The headlight relay is a round, grey thing on the fuse box... just pop the pannel off to the fuse box and there it is... i also have a 92 Spirit and i have to take a screw driving and lower the entire kick pannel before i can get to it, real tight spot but its easy to locate and see.
There is one arrow etched in the side of the sprocket that look like this: > for the left side cam and for the right it looks like this: < They need to line up with the plastic timing belt cut outs
I can answer if it's a 92 Volvo 240 right-hand drive (UK). It's a white box 2cmx3cmx4cm, it's exactly behind the glovebox, held in a little bracket which is mounted somewhere behind the glovebox. If it's a left-hand drive car - it'll prob be in the same place - somewhere behind but to the left of the steering wheel.
