wher is the engine temperature coolant sensor BUICK 2001
just changed it today, located right side of engine, under to the right of the engine cover , has wires coming off it looking like a bolt,, water will come out when you loosen the bolt.
The Coolant Temperature Sensor on a 1993 & 1994 Buick LeSabre is located on driver's side of the car under the throttle body, It is screwed into the lower intake manifold. You cannot see it without first removing the throttle body since it is hidden under it. An electronic plug is clipped to the the end of the CTS.

Relieve coolant pressure. Unplug it. Unscrew it. Screw the new one in before any significant amount of coolant escapes. Connect the electrical connector to the new sensor. Consider replacing the thermostat.

Also, consider whether or not you have the AC turned on. Probably either the relay sticking or a bad (or unplugged) engine coolant temperature sensor.
It is located in the bottom of coolant bottle.
On a 1993 buick regal it is on the side of the radiator.
