it is on the bottom of the carb in the front 3 holes are there it is the middle hole. I found it easy to set if you twist the carb a little one way or the other while still on the 4 wheeler .

NO, The injectors are different on the 454
on my 86 454 ltd it's in the tank, connected to the petcock
The standard fuel pressure for a 1998 Chevy 3500 with a 454 engine is 50 PSI. If fuel pressure drops much below this level, the fuel injectors will not work properly.

It should be in the back of the carburator. Right where the fuel line goes in
9 to 13 LBS.
You need to check the fuel pump, power to the fuel pump, fuel filter and anything else that might be related.
