The standard fuel pressure for a 1998 Chevy 3500 with a 454 engine is 50 PSI. If fuel pressure drops much below this level, the fuel injectors will not work properly.

1989 k 3500 only gets 5 miles to the gallon,and my k 3500 is running rich and i am really trying to find out.
A 5.7ltr/350 cid. v-8, 185hp/360ft/lbs torque or a 7.4ltre/454 cid. V-8 300Hp/420ft/lbs torque. the 454 V-8 is a considerably larger engine. Thanks

The 1992 Chevy 3500 temperature sensor is located on the front of the engine. The temperature sensor will be in the vicinity of the thermostat housing.
