The BCM is mounted under the Saturn's dash. It is located on the drivers side near the kick panel.
how to use bcm to reset change oil light
There is no BCM in a 99 Saturn......2000 it's under the dash pad
behind the center console, where you see the heater controls
Yes the vehicles mileage / odometer value is stored in the BCM and is transmitted and updated to the vehicle IPC / dash / cluster
I just had to order one from a Saturn Dealership (the only place i could find a new one) and they run about $300- $350 depending on year
The BCM (Body Control Module) controls most electronics not related to the drivetrain, amongst others the anti-theft system, interior and exterior lights, door chimes and the keyless entry system.
My 2002 Saturn L300 was doing this also, it was the BCM (Body Control Module). Cost about $600 to fix at the dealership
BCM stands for body control module. It is a second computer in the car that operates your turn signals, cruise control, radio, electric mirrors, headlights, tail-lights, electric sunroof, and climate controls. The BCM also stores all the data for the gauge cluster and it continually communicates with the ECU (Engine Control Unit). If for any reason the BCM and ECU can't communicate, the car will not start,
Saturn Shop Foreman here. Located under the dash cover on the cross car beam. Must be programed by GM dealer, holds Odometer information as well as other functions.
There isn't one. The four ways are controlled by the BCM. The click noise you hear is a programmed noise into the ip cluster because too many people complained about the lack of a click. If they don't work you need a hazard switch or a bcm
there is no cable,it is run from vehicle speed sensors through the bcm to the cluster assembly.you most likely have cluster problems.
You've probably found your answer by now, but on my '01 SC-2, it's behind the glovebox door, mounted on the inside firewall.
