The Batch Recategorize tool is available only to Supervisors because of the power of this function and the possibility of abuse by users could be too extreme for the site.
As a supervisor, the batch recategorize tool is accessed through Advanced Search, located at the top of every page within WikiAnswers. By using the Advanced Search, type in a keyword in the first search option and narrow the search results by including or excluding categories or by limiting the results to answered, unanswered, or all questions if needed. Once the search results have appeared, you can click on the big, orange Recategorize button at the top of the results and the page will convert into Batch Recategorize mode.
To exit batch recategorize mode (and still remain in advanced search), just click the X in the corner of the popup box containing WikiAnswers' category tree. Important: Please read every single question that you are about to recategorize through batch process before selecting it to move. Do not just use "Select All" and assume every question containing your keyword(s) are about the same subject matter.
