Where is the Code reader plug on a jeep Cherokee Laredo?

answering this because i took my car to a dealer and they told me they couldn't find the plug. Got upset with their lack carrying, so I told them I would also look up where and how its plug into a reader. Within less then five mins. ( web Surfing) , I found out that the old code readers -for older cars- is under the hood. My 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee is located under the hood near the antenna. So.... wow, I don't work on cars for a living, but im super upset that I had to go to three different shops, before a worker had the heart to say they didn't know how to scan my car (even tho its what they do for a living). So mostlikly I will get charged a lot of money because they wasted hours on something that should have taken max 30 mins. to learn. so again Two places your code reader plug will be at depending on year : BELOW THE STEERING WILL (OR TO THE SIDE OF THE STEERING WHEEL) OR ITS UNDER THE HOOD (MOSTLIKLY NEAR ANTENNA)---WHY WAS THIS SO HARD-- because your car mostlikly is very old and uses Chrysler OBD1 plug or something else other then the new plug.
