On the right rear of the engine by the throttle body.

Where is the DPFE sensor located in a 1999 Ford Exployer? I had my oil changed yesterday and was told that the hose connected to this sensor is off.

On my 1995 Ford Explorer with the 4.0 liter OHV engine the DPFE sensor ( differential / or delta pressure feedback Egr sensor ) is located on the upper intake manifold on the drivers side of the engine

The DPFE is located on the left side of the upper intake manifold across from the battery. It has two rubber hoses on the bottom with a wire connector attached.

where is the DPFE sensor located on a 2002 ford crown victoria?

P1401 is DPFE sensor circuit high, check out this tutorial to replace the sensor on your Ford

P1405 Ford - DPFE Sensor Circuit Upstream HoseProbably caused by Faulty DPFE sensor (EGR pressure sensor), or a plugged EGR tube

The DPFE sensor is located in the center of the vehicle near the firewall. It is easiest to see and replace if you remove the plastic cover on top of the engine.

the dpfe sensor is at rear of throttle bod.2-4 inches down between throt bod and firewall

The DPFE sensor is a totally separate sensor. Look for the feed pipe to the EGR valve and follow it towards the exhaust. Somewhere along that line you will see two small pipes leading to hoses, that lead to the sensor.

Ford is the only American car company that uses a DPFE sensor. GM dpfe sensor are built into the EGR.

I believe the DPFE sensor is at the back of the 5.0 L by the throttle body

At the rear of the engine, behind the throttle body, close to the EGR valve area, slightly toward the passenger's side of the vehicle. You can see the top of the DPFE while standing in front of the vehicle with the hood up, if you know what you are looking for.

On the 4.0 L - OHV - engine , its on the drivers side of the upper " plastic " intake manifold

I'm not a mechanic / technician but I had the DPFE sensor changed on my Ford Explorer . As far as I know it is used to control the amount the Exhaust Gas Recirculation ( EGR ) valve opens

I dont believe the Impala 2003 uses a DPFE sensor as part of there Emissions system.

On the 4.0 L OHV engine, the DPFE sensor is located on the driver's side of the engine. It is mounted on the side of the upper "plastic" intake manifold, directly below the idle air control valve. It is a small rectangular box with an electrical plug in connection on the front and 2 vacuum hoses connecting to the bottom. Originally they were made of metal, but I believe they are a plastic body now.

YES - www.motorcraft.com lists a DPFE sensor for all available engines on a 1996 Ford Ranger

Answer - 1998 DOHCEGR valve should be front of intake just behind throttle body. 2 bolts and 2 nuts hold it on, it'll have a green, plastic vacuum line going to its top. DPFE Sensor will be firewall side of engine, will have a 3 wire connector to it and 2 reinforced vacuum lines at its bottom.

p326 scanner info (actron cp9145) PFE/DPFE EGR SENSOR BELOW MINIMUM VOLTAGE. recommend view images search "PFE/DPFE" possible hose or clog problem

AnswerThe DPFE sensor is located next to the EGR vacuum regulator. The DPFE sensor is a rectangular box shaped sensor, held on by 2 nuts. It has two exhaust lines going to the EGR tube. This sensor is on 1996 and later models. joedi (edit: changed 1997 to 1996) joker_102877

some 1997 mountaineers didn't come with the dpfe sensor, you will have to look at the egr positioning sensor which is right on top of the egr valve itself . hope that helps

P1401 is DPFE Sensor Circuit High Faulty Differential Pressure Feedback Electronic (DPFE) sensor. Loose of disconnected wiring to the sensor

Dpfe sensor is the delta (differential) pressure feedback egr (exhaust gas recirculation) it monitors the pressure on the egr valve to make sure it is working.

P0401 means no flow at the dpfe sensor. Usually a bad sensor. or bad hoses from egr ports to dpfe.
