under the hood on the engine The egr valve on the 98 civic is (standing in front of the car facing back with hood open) to the immediate left of the aluminum fuel rail that holds the injectors. It is cylindrical, metal with a black plastic top and has a gray connector going to it. The base of it appears open where the solenoid mechanism goes into the valve. I am also having a problem with mine, it is not opening all the way. I think time for a new one.
The 1989 Honda Civic is not equipped with an EGR valve.
The EGR Valve is locaded right on the back of the manifold on the left side is the one that looks like is mostly glued not screwed.....
It's located next to the air box by the cam shaft.
its located between the intake and exhaust manifold to the left side of the hood.
im not sure on a 1990 but on my 93 civic ex 1.6 vtec the PVC valve is on the intake right under the fuel rail

2001 Honda CR-V DOES NOT have an EGR valve!
There is no EGR valve on a 2000 Honda CR-V. The emission system used in these vehicles did not require an EGR.
according to the emissions label it does not have an EGR valve.
The 2001 Honda Odyssey EGR valve is located on the outside of the air cleaner housing. You will find the valve, on the back of the housing.
The 1998 Ram does not have EGR.
