bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine sensor 2 is after the exhaust has passed through the catalytic converter ( downstream )
Can you show me a diagram of the upstream oxygen sensor on a 3.5l liter Oldsmobile Intrigue engine?
I was looking in my Chilton book at the engine wiring schematic for a 1993 Ford Ranger 2.3 liter 4 cylinder and I only see ( 1 ) heated oxygen sensor
It just has ( 1 ) oxygen sensor , before the catalytic converter ( upstream )
P0141 - downstream heated O2 sensor heater circuit fault ( Bank 1 ) according to my Haynes repair manual ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- P.S. bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine , the downstream oxygen sensor is after the catalytic converter ( or sensor 2 )
In the exhaust manifold at the firewall (rear of engine).
It is threaded into the exhaust manifold.
The oxygen sensor on the 1988 ford 2.9 liter engine is located on the exhaust pipe just behind the right exhaust manifold. It screws into the exhaust pipe and has a small wire running to the tip of it. Just unplug the wire and turn out the sensor with a wrench.
The 2004 Dodge Intrepid oxygen sensor can be found on the back of the air cleaner housing. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the oxygen sensor retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new oxygen sensor.
Bank 2 is the drivers side of your 4.2 liter V6 in a 1998 Ford F-150 Sensor 1 is between the engine and the catalytic converter ( upstream )
There is one before the catalytic converter and one after.
There is one before and one after the catalytic converter.
Bank 2 is the passenger side exhaust pipe and sensor 2 will be the closest sensor to the converter.
