under the hood!
The 2002 Dodge idle air control valve is located on the outside of the air cleaner housing. The idle air control valve can be found on the left-hand side of the housing.
2002 mustang models do not have cabin air filters. 2005+ models do have them, they are located under the passenger side cowl.
Where is the fuel idle control valve for a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire
The idle air control valve on a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville is located on the intake manifold. This valve allows direct adjustment to the engines idle system.
what year? Are you talking about the ecu? I am looking for the coolant temperature sensor on a 2001 ford mustang 3.8.
Idle air control valve diagram
Not sure what your're asking but if it's a question about the location of the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve on a Mustang it's on the front of the throttle body which is on top of the intake manifold. See pictures at Autoclinix.com; select "IAC Replacemnet | Mustang".
supplemental restraint system - air bags
my 2002 volvo s-40 is miss firing and it is alleged that the fault is from the idle air control valve. how can i clean the valve?
It is on the air intake near the left side of the alternator.
Idle Air Temperature sensor.
The IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor is an integral part of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
It is located above the air filter intake opening
remove it from the engine
if it is not in the air intake tube it will be built into the mass air flow sensor
The 99-2002 camaro 3.8 V6 doesn't have Idle air control valve. It is drive by wire control. Many of the parts dealers have the wrong data that 95-02 3.8 camaro have the same Idle air control valve location, and sell the wrong part.
because the air conditioner puts a load on the engine... check your cooling fan relays.. the fan should run with the air on at idle
pee in the gas tank impoes youe GPM
there is no idle adjustment on the neons it controlled by the computer wich opens and closes the idle air control motor located on or near the intake
Code P1443 is idle air Control (IAC) valve Speed fault
The temp sensor helps tell the engine how to mix the air and fuel to compensate for air temperature. If this isn't working then the air fuel mix can be off and cause rough idle.
The 2002 Ford Escort zx2 does have an air intake air temperature sensor. The sensor is at the top of the engine on the drivers side.
High idle can be from a malfunctioning coolant temperature sensor, idle air control, throttle linkage problem or a intake manifold leak or (vacuum leak). I have come across many v8 fords with intake manifold leaks. Unplug the connector on the idle air control, if it still has a high idle, it will either be the idle air control seized, throttle linkage or a intake manifold leak (air leaking into the manifold through a gasket or vacuum leak) If the idle comes down it will be the coolant temperature sensor or a power train control module problem. A scan should pickup a coolant temperature sensor out of range fault code if it's at fault.
The Idle Speed Control actuator is located right behind the air intake plenum
