The van should have electronic ignition, resistors are built into the ignition module and cannot be serviced. The module is located on the left inner fender below the master cylinder.
The resistor is located to the lower right of the blower motor. You will need to remove the battery to access it
Remove the ignition retaining ring. Pull the ignition barrel out. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition.
The number one cylinder on a Ford E150 2001 with a 4.2 coil is on the left, just behind the fan. The firing order for this engine is 1, 4, 3, 5, 3, 6.
on the top of the engine compartment firewall
Coil not getting juice/bad coil(s). Check wires with test light for current.
It is located/accessed from the engine bay, passenger side of the firewall.

Check to see if your vehicle jumped timing.
It is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment firewall next to the blower motor.
Could be a bad fan motor resistor
most new cars need brake pedal depressed in order to take the car out of park
In the enginecompartment, mounted to the left boarding behind the battery. For removal the battery has to be removed first.
