There are 4 O2 sensors on my 1997 F-150. There are 2 just after the exhaust manifolds (one on either side of the engine). These two are visible in the engine bay but are easier to remove through the wheelwell after removing the splashguard. The other two are just after the catalytic converters, again one on either side. i'm assuming your check engine light is on and you had a diagnostics done. the bank 1 sensors are on the passenger side of the vehicle and bank 2 is drivers side, at least in my truck. in fords in general bank 1 is on the side of cylinder 1 in the firing order. sensor 1(upstream) is the ones in the engine bay and sensor 2 (downstream) is after the cats... hope this helps, i jus got done doing mine and i found that if sensor 1 goes that #2 tries to pick up the slack and it too will fail soon. its best to replace them in pairs on the same bank side
Wher is the o2 sensor on a 2006 ford f150
Where is the O2 sensor located for a 2007 ford F150 with a 5.4 engine?Read more: Where_is_the_O2_sensor_located_for_a_2007_ford_F150_with_a_5.4_engine
An auto xray scanner can determine if a O2 sensor is bad.
where is the CHT sensor on a 2000 ford F150 where is the CHT sensor on a 2000 ford F150
I have a 99 f150 w/ the v6. You actually have 4 o2 sensors. 2 upstream of the cats and 2 down stream of the cats
Trouble code P0155 means: O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 2, Sensor 1)
bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine sensor 2 is after the exhaust has passed through the catalytic converter ( downstream )
The 2000 Ford F150 does not have a co2 sensor to my knowledge. They do have several O2 sensors and they are all threaded into the exhaust system in various places depending on engine size.
O2 sensors are always located on the exhaust system.O2 sensors are always located on the exhaust system.
on the passenger side underneath the cab. in front of the cat. where the exhaust manifold comes together.
Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine Sensor 2 is after the exhaust has passed through the catalytic converter ( downstream )
passenger side rear sensor --------------------------------------- actually Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine
