You will have to remove the air dryer, you will loss coolant. Under the air dryer is a silver tube and the orfice is in that tube. Must use needle-nose pliers to remove. you will have a little trouble putting in the new one because the of the o ring, use a little vaseline on it. the orfice should go in screen side first, and little flat plastic toward the front of the car. Just replaced on and it's not fun.

Its hard to tell exactly, but if you look at the hoses and metal tubes of the a/c system you can tell. Find the small hard line running from the condenser (radiator looking thing in the front) follow it until you find a connector where it goes from that small line to a larger line and your orifice tube will be located there. If I'm not mistaken Toyota uses expansion valves, not orifice tubes. The two airconditioned Toyotas I've owned have been that way. The expansion valve will be located inside the evaporator unit behind the dash/glove compartment. Probably not accessible without removal of the evaporator unit.

On the front unit, the orifice is located in the inlet tube of the evaporator core. Find the line that runs from the condensor to the evap core. Undo that connection, and the orifice is inside the evap core tube right there.On the rear unit. there could be either an expansion valve or an orifice. I am looking at the Ford service manual, and it doesn't say. But either one will be accessed the same way. Remove the left quarter trim, and look at the lines going into the evap core. If there is an expansion valve, you will see it right away on the inlet tube(small diameter tube). If there is an orifice, it will be located inside the inlet tube of the evap core, just like the front unit.
