If it's the one I think,It's on the right bank(passenger side)on rear of valve cover-under the fuel injection intake-OTHERS are dead center-rear-next 2 firewall.in the valley cover.
PCV Valve is located on the Right Valve Cover.
PCV IS ON LEFT SIDE VALVE COVER TOWARDS THE FRONT IF YOUR FACING THE MOTOR

I have a 5.8L in my 1990 and it is located behind the intake on the passenger side. Right by the valve cover.
The EGR valve, on a 2004 Ford F150 5.4 liter engine, is located on the top of the engine near the back. The valve is difficult to identify without prior mechanical knowledge.
It's located on one of the valve covers. The breather is on one and the PCV valve is located on the other one. and it will have a hose coming off it. Hope that helps.
On top of the intake in front of the throttle control. it has a two wire plug going into it.
