Should be located just above the oil filter.
My 1998 Civic EX engine (CA emissions) vents the upper valve cover into the air intake for combustion. I could not locate a traditional Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PVC) valve on my vehicle.
Should be hanging around where the valve cover is. PCV valve is on the intake from driver side it will be between the first and second fuel injector hope this helps
The pcv valve on the 98 civic ex 4dr may possibly be in the same location as the 2 door. It should be directly above the oil filter which you have to remove first. Once you remove the oil filter then you should be able to see the pcv valve with a bright spotlight. To remove it, is another story in itself.
im not sure on a 1990 but on my 93 civic ex 1.6 vtec the PVC valve is on the intake right under the fuel rail
Where is the PVC valve on a 2002 Honda Civic EX?
The valves on a 1998 Honda Civic EX can be adjusted using a feeler gauge. First remove the valve cover to access the valves. Using a factory service manual look up the proper valve adjustment gauge. Using a special valve socket to tighten and loosen them to the appropriate feeler gauge settings.
Yes.
It's on the back side of the engine between the oil filter and the intake manifold. There is a hose going from it to the intake manifold. Hope that helps.
