Under the engine appearance cover over the intake manifold. Remove the plastic cover and you'll see the radiator hoses running to a black plastic piece in the middle front of the engine. There will be a cap on the top of this piece with a hole for a large Allen wrench, this is the engine coolant fill cap. There are two main hoses running out of this piece. The lower hose connects to the thermostat cover which is held on by 3 bolts. Remove those three bolts and slide that hose back and you'll see the thermostat.
Note the orientation of the thermostat as it only fits in the housing one way. Make sure to use a new gasket when you put the new thermostat in. Once the thermostat is in, refill the system via the cap previously noted. There is a specific set of instructions for doing the refill and bleed of the cooling system which are availabl in several places on the web, so I won't repeat them here as you can simply search for them.
